1. How to get to PLAYBOX?

BY CAR

The main roads running through the borough include the North Circular Road, the M25, Green Lanes, the A10 and the old Hertford Road (A1010).

You’ll find the entrance to the car park at Palace Exchange just off Sydney Road - Sat Nav EN2 6TS. The Palace Gardens car park can be found on Sarnesfield Road - Sat Nav EN2 6SN.

BY TRAIN

Enfield has three overground train stations, the most central of which is Enfield Town. It is the terminus of a branch line from Liverpool Street, one of the Lea Valley Lines.

The other stations are Enfield Chase and Enfield Lock, situated at opposite ends of the town.

  2. Do I need to book in advance?

We welcome both walk-in visitors and pre-booked guests. While walk-in tickets are available, they are subject to availability, and we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot. Pre-booked tickets take priority to ensure the best experience for our guests. We wouldn't want you to be disappointed if we reach capacity. Feel free to drop by anytime, but to guarantee your visit, we advise making a reservation ahead of time. We look forward to welcoming you to PLAYBOX.

  3. What time do you open?

​

Our cafe is open:

Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 - 5:00

Sunday 10:30-15:30

Please note that Tuesday-Friday the first play session starts at 9:45 and the last one starts at 3:45. On weekends, we host two play sessions each day. Plus, if there's no party booking, we'll have additional sessions available for even more playtime fun

  4. Can I arrive at any time?

​

Absolutely! You're welcome to arrive ahead of your scheduled session time and enjoy our cafe area. However, please note that access to the ticketed area and role play activities will be limited to the allocated session time specified on your ticket. We want to ensure that all our guests have the opportunity to fully experience the role play activities during their designated time slot. So, feel free to relax in the cafe area before your session begins, and we'll make sure you're all set for your adventure when the time comes!

  5. What if I’m late for the session?

​

If you're running late for the session, don't worry! You can still join in, but please be mindful of the original end time.

​

  6. Do you charge admission for adults?

​

There is no charge for adults, each child will need their own ticket for entry.

Adults are welcome to accompany their child into the play area, with one adult allowed per child. This policy ensures the safety and supervision of all children during playtime. 

​

  7. Is there parking?

​

As PLAYBOX is located in the shopping precinct, parking is easy. There is a Palace Exchange multi storey car park just off Sydney Road - Sat Nav EN2 6TS, as well as the small, outdoor car park on Sydney road. The Palace Gardens car park can be found on Sarnesfield Road - Sat Nav EN2 6SN.

  8. Is there an age limit?

​

We want children to feel safe and have the freedom to enjoy the facilities at PLAYBOX, for that reason we have an age limit of 6 years old in our role play area, older children are welcome to come along to the cafe.

  9. Do you cater for allergies/intolerances?

​

Yes, we cater to allergies and intolerances. We offer a variety of snacks that are plant-based, gluten-free, and nut-free. Please note that our menu changes,, but we always strive to accommodate dietary needs and preferences.Additionally, allergen information is always available upon request to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests.

  10. Do you have any area suitable for babies?

​

Yes, we have a designated pre-walker only area with a selection of books, montessori style baby toys and more.

​

  11. Can we bring our own food?

​

For Health and Safety reasons, we kindly ask that all food and drinks are purchased through our cafe. Of course we are happy for you to bring food for babies under one who need purée or specific finger foods. We also do have baby food pouches available to buy. ​

  12. How many adults can I bring along?

​

Bring along as many adults as you'd like! We understand that you may want to enjoy some catch-up time with friends in the cafe while your little ones play. However, please remember that for safety reasons, only one adult per child is permitted inside the play area at a time

​

  13. Can I bring pram?  

​

Absolutely! We have a buggy park at PLAYBOX. Please note, items within buggies are left at your own risk.

​

  14. Do you have wheelchair access?

​

Yes, we do! Our cafe is wheelchair accessible, and you'll find plenty of space inside for easy navigation. However, please note that we do not have wheelchair-accessible toilets on-site. Accessible facilities are available within the shopping precinct, just a 1-minute walk away.
