Terms and Conditions for Party Bookings

Welcome to PLAYBOX! Here's what you need to know for a wonderful party experience

 

1. Running Late

No Worries: You can still join, but we will stick to the original end time. Please advise your guests to arrive promptly for your party as we are unable to add extra time to the end of your party slot. 

 

2. Tidying Up

Help us tidy and kindly leave promptly after the party so that we can prepare for the next party.

 

3. Prams and Buggies 

Please park them in our buggy park. We're not liable for any loss or damage to property left within our premises. 

 

4. Admission 

All children must wear a sticker provided by PLAYBOX to play in the roleplay area. Children without the sticker might be asked to leave. During the role play session, part of the Weekend Wonders and Weekday Wonders party experience the Role Play Terms  and Conditions apply. They can be found here.

 

5. Adult Supervision

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times. PLAYBOX team does not take any responsibility for supervision of any minors present within the premises. 

 

6. Age Limit

Children of all ages are welcome to play, but the roleplay area is specifically designed for young children  (0 – 6 years). Older children need to be made aware by their guardian that some of the resources are not appropriate for their use due to their age and size. Should some of the resources be damaged by misuse or inappropriate play the guardian will take financial responsibility for replacing them.

 

7. Safety First

While we encourage play, please note the inherent risks involved. We are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during play.  All persons attending the party must comply with all the rules and regulations currently in operation at PLAYBOX. We reserve the right to deny admission, or remove any person already admitted to the premises, without refund or compensation, for failure to comply with any of the PLAYBOX rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behaviour, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.

8. Creativity Welcome

Enjoy imaginative play, but please look after our props. 

 

9.Responsibility

Parents or guardians are accountable for any damage or injury caused by their little one. If damaged where equipment is unusable; the exact amount charged to you will depend on the extent of the damage. 

 

10. Reporting Issues 

Please let us know if you notice any damage or need help.

 

11. Socks Required

For hygiene and safety, take your shoes off before entering our town. Please make sure your socks are on at all times. Don't worry; if you don’t have any on hand you can buy them at PLAYBOX.

 

12. Personal Property

Please look after your personal belongings. All items, belongings and other property brought onto the premises by visitors are at guest’s own risk and we accept no liability for the loss or damage to such property.

13. Illness Policy

If the birthday girl/boy becomes ill and the party must be cancelled then we will work with you to find an alternative party date, based on availability. Please provide a 24 hour notice of illness, if possible. In some cases a doctor’s note will be needed as proof of illness. We may still need to charge you for the food that has already been ordered and any other perishable goods already arranged for your party.

 

14. Privacy

We only need your info to book your fun-filled adventure with us! And don't worry, we'll never share your details with anyone else. Your privacy is safe and sound with us. Click here for our privacy policy

 

15. Booking & Cancellation Policy

To secure your date, we ask for a £100 deposit when you book. A week before the big day, we need to know the final number of your guests. Your confirmed final number is the minimum number you will be charged for. While we shall endeavour to cater for unexpected guests, please be aware that this may not always be possible. Payment for additional guests will be charged at the end of your party. Final quotation should be paid prior to the party. Unfortunately, we can't refund your deposit if you need to cancel. However, we're happy to tweak your booking once, up to a month before the party. If, for any reason, we can't host your party, we'll give you a full refund. And if you need to cancel within a week of the big day, we'll need to charge the full amount of final quotation. To keep things smooth and clear, please let us know about any changes or cancellations in writing by email to [email protected]. We want to make sure everything goes smoothly for your special day!

 

16. Force Majeure

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these conditions that is caused by a Force Majeure Event. We will contact you as soon as possible to notify you; and our obligations under these conditions will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Force Majeure Event.

17. Photos

Snap away and capture those precious moments! Just remember to be mindful of others' privacy while you're at it. Let's make sure everyone feels comfortable and happy in our PLAYBOX

 

18. Hygiene

For those little nappy changes, we've got cosy spots set up just for that! Let's keep our play areas fresh and clean for everyone to enjoy!

 

19. Food and Drink

When you’ve booked an exclusive hire or room hire only, you have an option to bring your own food. However, let's keep our party nut-free to make sure everyone stays safe and has a blast! For the safety and cleanliness of our play area, please ensure that food and drinks are consumed in designated dining areas only.

 

20. Assistance Dogs Only

No other pets than assistance dogs  are allowed on the premises.

 

By placing a booking you will be deemed to have read, understood and accepted above Terms and Conditions, therefore entering into a contract.
