By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

General:

​

1. STORYBOX is a storytime class where parents or guardians accept full responsibility for the supervision of the children under their care throughout the premises. This applies for the role play area as well. STORYBOX team does not take any responsibility for supervision of any minors present within the premises.

2. Any child must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Even though your child may be able to take part independently, you are expected to stay nearby to ensure that resources and other visitors are treated with respect.

3. Subject to availability, bookings can be made in advance online or tickets can be purchased at the counter before the session at an increased rate.

4. Story sessions last 30 mins each. Start times of sessions are listed on our website and within the premises.

5. CCTV is in operation throughout PLAYBOX premises and is covered by our Privacy Policy.

6. All personal belongings and property brought into PLAYBOX by visitors is done so at their own risk. PLAYBOX accepts no liability for any loss or damage to such property during a visit.

7. PLAYBOX accepts no responsibility for any items left in the buggy park and accepts no liability for any loss or damage to such property during a visit.

8. PLAYBOX reserves the right to close the whole or part of the PLAYBOX cafe at any time. If deemed necessary for the security and safety of guests and staff. Customers will then have a choice to either re-book their sessions or receive a refund.

Tickets:

​

1. All children need a valid ticket for STORYBOX. One ticket entitles entry for one child for one allocated 30 minute storytime session and is not transferable, cannot be shared.

1. Booking Confirmation: Your admission ticket booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. The entry price includes admission only.

Pricing:

1. Ticket prices are listed in GBP on our website www.playboxlondon.co.uk but may change at any time. Prices are inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors after booking.

2. Walk-ins: You can purchase the ticket at the counter on the day of the session from an hour before it starts, however, if you have not pre-booked online, you’re running the risk that the story session may be fully booked when you arrive. In such cases, we would not be able to accommodate you, as pre booked tickets take priority.

3. Group bookings: If you (the customer) pre-book tickets and your party size exceeds the number of tickets held by you for the session , STORYBOX may not be able to accommodate your additional guests if the maximum capacity has been reached for that session. A refund will not be provided for the tickets held and only those with a valid ticket for the session will be permitted entry to the STORYBOX class.

4. Tickets for friends: Where tickets are purchased on behalf of others, the buyer accepts responsibility for notifying all those in their party of STORYBOX terms and conditions.

5. Ticket Validity: Your admission ticket is valid only for the date and time slot specified at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of the session date and time on your email confirmation. Mistakes cannot always be rectified and entry will only be permitted for the number of tickets, date and time stated on the booking confirmation.

6. Timings: Each story session is restricted to 30 minutes. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your session. If you miss your story session, or part thereof, refunds and transfers will not be available. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your session. 7. Entry Requirements: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (who must be 18+ years old) at all times while visiting the PLAYBOX cafe and STORYBOX session. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual or group at our discretion.

Cancellations, Refunds, Rescheduling:

​

1. All tickets are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise within this document.

2. In the event that the STORYBOX cancels a session, a full refund will be provided. STORYBOX reserves the right to cancel any sessions at their

   discretion.

3. Late Arrival: Late arrival will result in reduced session time, and no refunds or

   rescheduling will be provided for late arrivals.

4. Rescheduling: Requests for rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in

   advance of the booked date and time. For bookings made online rescheduling requests can be made via booking engine or email sent to [email protected] or in person. For bookings made in person rescheduling requests can be made via email sent to [email protected] or in person. Rescheduling will be granted subject to availability and at a discretion of STORYBOX.

Health and Safety:

​

1. Inherent Risks: While toys and play activities provided are intended for children's enjoyment and are designed to be safe, it is important to acknowledge that all play carries inherent risks. We are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during play.

2. Safety and well-being: STORYBOX prioritises the safety and well-being of all visitors. Please adhere to all health and safety guidelines and instructions provided by staff during your visit. Parents or guardians are accountable for any damage or injury caused by their children.

3. Illness policy: If your little one isn't feeling their best, please reschedule their visit to prevent the spread of infection. Children who are unwell or who have been unwell must not visit PLAYBOX for 48 hours after recovery. Refunds will not be given, and transfers require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If a child or adult visiting PLAYBOX is sick or infectious during their visit, they must leave the premises immediately or will be asked to do so. No refunds or credits will be offered in such cases.

Photography and Filming:

​

1. Photography and filming for personal use are permitted within the role play cafe, provided it does not infringe upon the privacy or comfort of other visitors.

2. STORYBOX cannot be held responsible for any images posted to a public website without prior permission from the persons in the photograph or their guardians.

3. We reserve the right to repost your photos, reels, stories, etc. These might contain other visitors.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: STORYBOX reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

By booking an admission ticket to STORYBOX, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
