Role Play Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

General:

PLAYBOX is a roleplay cafe where parents or guardians accept full responsibility for the supervision of the children under their care throughout the premises. This applies for the play area as well. PLAYBOX team does not take any responsibility for supervision of any minors present within the premises.
Children of all ages are welcome in the cafe. Baby pen is for non-walkers and carers (who must be 18+ years old) only. Role play area is for the use of walking children up to the age of 6 (unless stated otherwise at the time of booking). Older children can use our basket of toys in the cafe area when waiting for their younger siblings.
Any child must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Even though your child may be able to play independently, you are expected to stay nearby to ensure that resources and other visitors are treated with respect.
Subject to availability, bookings can be made in advance online or tickets can be purchased at the counter from an hour before the start of the session.
Play sessions last 60 mins each. Start times of sessions are listed on our website and within the premises.
CCTV is in operation throughout PLAYBOX premises and is covered by our Privacy Policy.
All personal belongings and property brought into PLAYBOX by visitors is done so at their own risk. PLAYBOX accepts no liability for any loss or damage to such property during a visit.
PLAYBOX accepts no responsibility for any items left in the buggy park and accepts no liability for any loss or damage to such property during a visit.
PLAYBOX reserves the right to close the whole or part of the cafe at any time. if deemed necessary for the security and safety of guests and staff. Customers will then have a choice to either re-book their sessions or receive a refund.

Admissions:

Tickets: All children need a valid ticket to play in our role play area. Please ensure that children are wearing PLAYBOX provided stickers when they enter the play area. One ticket entitles entry for one child for one allocated 60 minute play session and is not transferable, cannot be shared.
Booking Confirmation: Your admission ticket booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. The entry price includes admission only.
Pricing: Ticket prices are listed in GBP on our website www.playboxlondon.co.uk but may change at any time. Prices are inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors after booking.
Walk-ins: You can purchase the ticket at the counter on the day of the session from an hour before it starts, however, if you have not pre-booked on line, you’re running the risk that the play session may be fully booked when you arrive. In such cases, we would not be able to accommodate you, as pre booked tickets take priority.
Group bookings: If you (the customer) pre-book tickets and your party size exceeds the number of tickets held by you for the session , Playbox may not be able to accommodate your additional guests if the maximum capacity has been reached for that session. A refund will not be provided for the tickets held and only those with a valid ticket for the session will be permitted entry to PLAYBOX play area.
Tickets for friends: Where tickets are purchased on behalf of others, the buyer accepts responsibility for notifying all those in their party of PLAYBOX terms and conditions.
Ticket Validity: Your admission ticket is valid only for the date and time slot specified at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of the session date and time on your email confirmation. Mistakes cannot always be rectified and entry will only be permitted for the number of tickets, date and time stated on the booking confirmation.
Timings: Each play session is restricted to 60 minutes. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your session. If you miss your play session, or part thereof, refunds and transfers will not be available. Once you hear our bell the session has ended. Please leave the role play area promptly in order to allow the set up for the next session. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for your session. If you miss your play session or part thereof refunds and transfers will not be available.
Entry Requirements: Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult (who must be 18+ years old) at all times while visiting the roleplay cafe. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual or group at our discretion.

Cancellations, Refunds, Rescheduling:

All tickets and vouchers are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise within this document.
In the event that a play session is cancelled, a full refund will be provided. PLAYBOX reserves the right to cancel any sessions at their discretion.
Late Arrival: Late arrival will result in reduced play time, and no refunds or rescheduling will be provided for late arrivals.
Rescheduling: Requests for rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the booked date and time. For bookings made online rescheduling requests can be made via booking engine or email sent to [email protected].uk or in person. For bookings made in person rescheduling requests can be made via email sent to [email protected] or in person. Rescheduling will be granted subject to availability and at a discretion of PLAYBOX.

Rules of Entry:

Socks Required: For hygiene and safety, please take off your shoes before entering the role play area and place them in the shoe bench compartments. Socks must be worn at all times. If you need a pair of socks, you can purchase them at PLAYBOX.
Food and Drink: Whilst on the premises, you or your children can not consume food or drink you have brought with you, except for baby food (0-12 months)
Behavioural Expectations: All visitors are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and respectfully towards others. The cafe reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual displaying disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
Any person causing wilful damage to the facilities, fixtures or fittings of PLAYBOX will be liable to pay for any damage caused. This includes any damage caused by misuse of equipment and/or failure to abide by our
Rules of Entry and Rules of Play.

Dress Code:

Socks are our superheroes! Wear them at all times.
Leave the shoes off, our play town is all about comfy feet!

Parent Mission Control:

Parents, please keep an eye on your little ones.
Put on your invisibility cloaks for a moment! During playtime, let's keep the magic alive and save the tech spells for later.

Create & Respect:

Keep our play area tidy—like magic, but even cooler!
No running super-fast; we don’t want any accidents.
Please keep your personal toys safe and out of the play town.

Magic Captures:

Snap pics for your album of memories.
Share smiles, not frowns! Remember, photos are for personal use only. Please refrain from sharing pictures of children other than your own on social media.

Snack Time:

No outside snacks in the cafe, please.
Enjoy treats from our café, but remember, no food in the role play area.

At PLAYBOX, we believe in the joy of play and exploration in a safe, stimulating environment. While children have fun together, there are inherent risks like moderate physical activity and occasional bumps. We're committed to keeping them safe while they run free and make memories.

Health and Safety:

Inherent Risks: While toys and role play activities provided are intended for children's enjoyment and are designed to be safe, it is important to acknowledge that all play carries inherent risks. We are not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during play.
Safety and well-being: PLAYBOX prioritises the safety and well-being of all visitors. Please adhere to all health and safety guidelines and instructions provided by staff during your visit. Parents or guardians are accountable for any damage or injury caused by their children.
Illness policy: If your little one isn't feeling their best, please reschedule their visit to prevent the spread of infection. Children who are unwell or who have been unwell must not visit Playbox for 48 hours after recovery. Refunds will not be given, and transfers require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If a child or adult visiting PLAYBOX is sick or infectious during their visit, they must leave the premises immediately or will be asked to do so. No refunds or credits will be offered in such cases.

Photography and Filming:

Photography and filming for personal use are permitted within the roleplay cafe, provided it does not infringe upon the privacy or comfort of other visitors.
PLAYBOX cannot be held responsible for any images posted to a public website without prior permission from the persons in the photograph or their guardians.
We reserve the right to repost your photos, reels, stories, etc. if you choose to tag us. These might contain other visitors.

Gift Vouchers:

Gift vouchers are available for purchase via PLAYBOX website or in person at PLAYBOX. All gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. A gift voucher does not guarantee entry into a specific session, pre booking of a date and time to use the gift voucher is required. Gift vouchers can be used in part. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
PLAYBOX cannot be held liable for gift vouchers which are lost or damaged.
PLAYBOX reserves the right to refuse to accept any vouchers that may have been altered, duplicated or printed by unauthorised personnel.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: The roleplay cafe reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

By booking an admission ticket to the roleplay cafe, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
